OBIEE training is often times a part of a larger Oracle training and implementation process. It can often involve work with the 11g database, as well as EPM and Hyperion modules.

Oracle itself offers some classes but has been slow to provide them for OBIEE 11g. As of August 2012, they still haven't provided a certification yet!

Generally classes will be broken up into the different aspects of the system. One class for the repository will focus more on the physical layers. Another class will focus on the reports and dashboards sections (Answers and Dashboards). Because many OBIEE installations rely on a 11g database backend, datawarehousing and familiarity with a Oracle database can be needed, especially for migrations from other platforms. Separate classes are taught for administrators, power users, and end consumers, as well as DBAs. We can help guide you through options.
